  • Make a better environment for them
  • Educate young mums about parenting
  • Celebrate the Motherhood every year.

Mother of the Year Awards is the charity’s flagship event, which proudly honours the young, single, working and inspiring mothers of Australia every year. Our responsibility is to let people nominate their mums. We organise this award every year to reveal what everyday mothers can do for their children and our communities. These awards enable us to showcase what the world can be like for toddlers.

With the commitment to inspire all mothers, we also arrange seminars in different cities of Australia including Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Adelaide to let people understand the same love and care for young children. If you know any exceptional mum, then nominate her today.

  • A ceremony will be held in each state and territory capital city from July 2019.
  • Our judging panel will announce which nominee will represent her state or territory.
  • Women-oriented events and workshops
  • Exciting prizes for a winner

Australians have never kept themselves away from appreciating their mothers or mother figures including stepmothers, foster mothers, and relatives. Many organisations work with the general community to raise awareness of parenting and motherhood events. Mothers are the pride of our nation, and we want every great mum to get all the respect and honour she deserves.

According to the stats, the proportion of working mothers has increased to 53.4 per cent in the last 20 years. They are playing the role of a full-time employee and a mother perfectly. Even, young women are adopting aboriginal kids. They are strongly raising their children with the same dedication and passion. There are many renowned NGO’s in Australia who have been running a ‘Find-a-Family program’ to find suitable and responsible adoptive families for children who need a new family. Single women are adopting both boys and girls who desperately need a family.

They are strongly raising their children with the same dedication and passion. In a recent survey, it has found that working mothers spend around 27 hours on child care while fathers spend only 13 hour – that’s why we say mothers are great!

Each year Bamya honours motherhood by naming Australia’s best mother of the year and organising seminars. We have a team of trusted and renowned judging panel who closely observes each nomination and also arrange high-level meetings to let the best nominee win the prize.

Our team also focus on highlight the issues impacting mothers and children in Australia. We, as a responsible organisation, emphasis on acknowledging the efforts of great mum- how they brought up their children in stressful situations and how they became an inspiration for the entire community. Bamya only supports and rewards great personalities who have contributed their share of motherhood for the future of this nation. We also arrange events to educate and serve young, working and foster mothers.

Our effort is towards showing gratitude to the mothers across Australia who works so hard to nourish the lives of their children, which in turn support the entire community. With the assistance of our sponsors, we will be awarding exciting prizes to the finalists of Mother for the Year Awards. Judgment will be based on the descriptions written by the one who has nominated his/her mother. Give your mum a platform where she can inspire the other mums of the Australian Community.
