Rebecca Healy from Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory was today named Barnardos Australia’s Mother of the Year 2011 at a gala dinner held at The Ivy in Sydney. Rebecca was presented with her award by The Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, Minister for Human Services, Minister for Social Inclusion who commended Rebecca for her dedication to her family and being a passionate advocate for youth.
